The third-generation Tacoma is the truck we build for most often. Whether you run the 5 ft short bed on a double cab or the 6 ft bed on an access cab, the shell is the same aluminum build: 2 mm anodized body, TIG-welded frame, clamp mounting that never touches your bed rails. Prices and availability below are for 2016 through 2023 trucks only, so what you see is what fits.

| Years | Generation | Bed length | Fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2016-2023 | Gen 3 | 5.0 ft | Yes |
| 2016-2023 | Gen 3 | 6.0 ft | Yes |
Toyota built the third-generation Tacoma from 2016 through 2023 and replaced it with a redesigned truck for 2024. In our fitment catalog those are separate groups, so the shell we ship for a 2019 Tacoma is not the one we ship for a 2024. The parts are not interchangeable.
Across these eight model years we cover both lengths: the 5 ft bed on the double cab and the 6 ft bed on the access cab and long-bed double cabs. Each is its own fitment group. Measure the inside of the bed from the bulkhead to the closed tailgate - two minutes, and our guide walks through it.
2 mm anodized aluminum body, TIG-welded frame, no-drill clamp mounting, a roof rated for a rack and a rooftop tent, and the same choice between the solid-sided FORGE and the glassed PANORAMIC.
Yes, if your truck is a 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma with the 5.0 ft and 6.0 ft bed. Every build on this page is listed for that generation only, so nothing here is a maybe. Check the bed length in the table above and reserve the matching build.
Not always: we keep each generation as its own fitment group because the bed and the mounting points change between them. We also cover the 2024-Present Tacoma - open that page and you will see the builds and prices for those years.
It starts at $2,499 for the Forge Series after the current discount, with Panoramic above it. Warehouse installation for this truck is $80-$100 and pickup on its own is free. A $99 deposit holds your build and goes toward the final price.
Yes. Truck cap, camper shell, topper, canopy: four names for the same thing, a hard shell that closes your truck bed. Ours are aluminum; if you searched for a 2016-2023 Tacoma truck cap or camper shell, you are in the right place.
No. The topper mounts with clamps, nothing goes through the bed rails or the paint - the same mounting we use across every truck we fit.
Two to eight weeks from reservation, depending on stock and production; availability above is live. Pickup is at our warehouse in Hallandale Beach, Florida, between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, and installation there is $80-$100 and takes about an hour.
