Why aluminum
Lighter than fiberglass, and it stays that way
A fiberglass shell soaks up sun and cracks around the mounts. Our body is 2 mm anodized aluminum on a TIG-welded frame: it carries a roof rack, takes a rooftop tent and does not turn into a repair project after two seasons. Mounting is no-drill, so nothing pierces the bed or the paint of your GMC Canyon.
Two series fit this truck. FORGE is the work and expedition build with solid side doors and MOLLE panels. PANORAMIC swaps them for tinted panoramic glass when you want light and visibility inside.

- Which bed lengths do you cover for the GMC Canyon?
- We build the GMC Canyon topper for the 5.0 ft and 6.0 ft beds, covering 2015-2022, 2023-Present. The table above shows which generation goes with which bed length, so you can check yours before you reserve.
- What does a GMC Canyon topper cost?
- The GMC Canyon starts at $2,499 for the Forge Series after the current discount, with Panoramic above it. Warehouse installation for this truck is $80-$100, and pickup on its own is free. A $99 deposit holds your build and goes toward the final price.
- Does this same topper fit any other truck?
- Yes: Chevrolet Colorado. Those share a fitment group with the GMC Canyon, which means the same shell, the same mounting and the same parts.
- Is a truck cap the same as a camper shell?
- Yes. Truck cap, camper shell, topper, canopy: four names for the same thing, a hard shell that closes your truck bed. We build ours in aluminum and call them toppers; if you searched for a GMC Canyon truck cap or camper shell, you are in the right place.
- Will it fit my GMC Canyon?
